The Red Raiders lost to Iowa State when the Cyclones played in Lubbock. On Saturday, Texas Tech took care of business with a Big 12 title on the line.

After Iowa State started the game on an 8-0 run,the Red Raiders responded with a 9-0 run. Jarrett Culver had 12 points in the first half and Davide Moretti had 11.

The Red Raiders trailed 36-34 going into halftime after Moretti hit a three as the buzzer sounded.

In the second half Texas Tech outscored the Cyclones 46-37 and Culver's offense fired away even more. The sophomore finished with 31 points, a new career high.

Marial Shayok scored 20 points against the Red Raiders when the Cyclones played in Lubbock. He was questionable for Sunday's game after suffering a foot injury in practice, but started the game and finished with 17 points.

The Red Raiders clinched a share of the Big 12 regular season title with the win. Kansas State defeated Oklahoma, leading to a share of the title for the Wildcats and Red Raiders. This is the first Big 12 title Texas Tech has won.
