We definitely warmed up today, and that will continue, despite a cold front expected to move through late Monday. The cloud cover will break up by late morning, and the winds will begin to accelerate. Wind speeds are expected to reach 40 mph sustained, with gusts up to 60 mph. The cold front will drop the temperature Monday night, but afternoon temperatures will continue to increase toward Valentines day.

A **Red Flag Warning** will be in effect as a result of the strong wind expected, accompanied by the already dry conditions.

It could be a little windy on Valentine's Day too, but right now it's not forecast to be as windy as Monday. It looks like most nights this week will remain above freezing.
