District 84, Lubbock, and Texas Tech are well positioned with the committee assignments announced today by the Texas House of Representatives. Speaker Bonnen issued the following statement:

"Throughout his tenure in the House, Representative Frullo has come to be known as a man of utmost integrity who never stops advocating on behalf of his constituents. Lubbock is home to a flourishing workforce and a thriving university system, making Rep. Frullo uniquely qualified to serve as a member of the House Higher Education Committee and as Vice Chair of the International Relations & Economic Development Committee. As a member of House Calendars, Rep. Frullo will play an integral role in setting the agenda and priorities of the House, and I will rely on his counsel throughout the legislative session. I look forward to working alongside Rep. Frullo to make Texas an even better place to live, work and raise a family."

“It is an honor to be appointed to these key committees,” said Rep. Frullo after receiving his assignments. “I want to thank Speaker Bonnen for trusting me with these assignments that are important to our community."
