A body found naked floating off the shores of the Bahamas feared to be that of a Texas Tech alumnus. Mason Hart, 24, graduated from Tech last spring. He was working for a family-friend this summer. The body was found in ankle deep water July 29th.  Hart's body has not been formally identified by the family's friend, Bahamian investigators have tentatively identified Hart through photos provided. The dingy Hart was known to be using at the time has not been found.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday but the family wants an independent toxicology exam.

"We know that he's been out at bars. We want that toxicology report. We want to know, was he drugged? Did somebody put something in his drink," asked Stacey Wasek a family friend. "This is, to be found nude Mason was just not that type."

Wasek added there is a person of interest that was seen with Hart on the missing dingy.

They have tried to contact the U.S. Embassy for help but due to a local holiday there has been little support so far.

Hart's parents don't hold U.S. passports and cannot travel to the Bahamas to claim the body. The family has a GoFundMe page set up to defray expenses to bring the body back to american soil.
