A suspect is in custody in connection with gunfire reported outside a Lubbock grocery store on July 17. Sedale Nunley, 23, is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held on 75-thousand dollars bond.

The Lubbock Police Department reported Nunley fired two shots, as he ran after his girlfriend in the parking lot of the United on Parkway Drive. She went inside the store for help. Nobody was hurt.

According to the warrant, the victim told investigators Nunley was looking through her phone while waiting in her car and pulled out a gun when she asked him about it.
