Police lights

One person was onboard a single-engine aircraft that crashed near the intersection of Drew St. and North I-27 around 5:30 p.m., which is FM 1294 and I-27, north of the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport.

Lubbock Police report the plane crashed because of a partial power loss.

There is no word on injuries at this time.
