Lubbock Christian University to hold commencement ceremonies

Lubbock Christian University will host commencement ceremonies over the weekend.

The graduate commencement ceremony will be Friday at 7:30 p.m., in the McDonald Moody Auditorium.

The undergraduate commencement ceremony will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m., in the Rip Griffin Center near 26th St. and Chicago Ave.

Dr. Michelle McCord, Frenship ISD Superintendent, will be the headline speaker for the undergraduate commencement ceremony. She has more than 20 years of dedicated educational experience and service to public schools, including the previous five years as the district’s Deputy Superintendent as well as Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services.

The graduate ceremony speaker will be Dr. Carlos Perez, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Lubbock Christian University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Family Studies, Human Services, and Counseling. Dr. Perez is the academic program coordinator for the Bachelor of Arts in Family Studies, the Master of Arts in Family Ministry, and the Master of Science in Human Services.

Both 2018 commencement ceremonies will be broadcast live at LCU.edu/live or at Facebook.com/LCU.edu.
